LA COMPAGNIE

Background

Erika Zueneli, a dancer/performer with various companies, founded the L’YEUSE association in 2000 with Olivier Renouf. A company as a veritable playground, a laboratory of ideas, created with respect for each other’s creative timeframes. This has allowed them both to confront and share common creations, such as “Les cieux ne sont pas … ” (2002), and to continue their personal research. A path that led them to develop, when the time came, in two distant and separate fields. So it was that, in parallel syntony, Erika and Olivier traced their respective creative paths.

In 2008, Erika Zueneli, who has a strong presence on the Belgian scene, founded her own company in Brussels, TANT’AMATI/ASBL. Since then, the two twin structures (Tant’amati/asbl and l’Yeuse) have cooperated, consolidating and amplifying their resources, while expanding their international distribution network.

Networks

For over ten years, Erika Zueneli’s projects have been supported by three main networks: the Wallonia-Brussels network, the Paris region network (Paris and Ile-de-France) and the European network. The company has also received support from public institutions: the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Service de la danse, aide aux projets), Wallonie-Bruxelles International (WBI), the Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre/Danse agency and COCOF for its tours. As well as the Drac Ile de France, Arcadi, Adami and Sacd.
